The story follows a carefree casanova named Sarju (played by Jaspreet Gera). To avoid the responsibilities and commitment of long-term relationships, Sarju makes a conscious decision to only involve himself with married women. However, his strategy backfires spectacularly when his chosen romantic partner, Malti (Jayshree Gaikwad), turns out to be the sister-in-law ( jethani ) of his ex-girlfriend, Guncha (Pihu Kanojiya).

The series relies heavily on its main ensemble to balance the dramatic tension and comedic timing required by the script.
