Remember that resetting the software counter does not physically clean the ink pads. If you reset the printer multiple times without eventually opening the case and swapping or washing out the physical foam absorption pads, excess ink will eventually overflow out of the bottom of the machine. Use the software reset as a temporary fix, and plan to clean the physical pads when time permits.
