Shankar Dada is a local goon with a kind heart who, to impress his estranged parents and win respect, pretends to be a doctor. After being exposed, he enrolls in medical college to become a real doctor and prove himself. In college and hospital settings he clashes with an arrogant dean, befriends classmates and patients, and uses unorthodox compassion to heal people emotionally as well as physically. The film revolves around (Chiranjeevi), a local don in Hyderabad, known affectionately as Shankar Dada. He runs his "business" with his loyal sidekick, ATM (Srikanth).
